- After your session, and until your first rinse, we don't recommend wearing tight clothing, socks, bra, and/or jewelry. Wear loose fitting, dark colored clothing. Long sleeved shirt and pants are recommended, especially if you are sleeping with the solution on your skin.
- Until your first rinse, avoid water/liquid exposure. This means doing the dishes, giving the kids a bath, excessive sweating, rain, pets licking you, laundry, etc. Getting your skin wet too soon after your appointment will prevent the tan from developing.
- Also, until your first rinse avoid prolonged skin to skin contact with yourself and with others. This can be crossing your legs, cuddling, holding your child, sleeping with your leg/arm folded, etc. If there is prolonged contact that area will turn into dark spots.
- Wait at least 8 to 10 hours to rinse; for best results up to 24 hours. Use luke warm water and using your hands gently massage the entire body in a circular motion to rub off the bronzer. You don't want to use product on your body during your first rinse. Only use product on critical areas like face, underarms, feet and private areas. Pat skin dry.
- After your first rinse, and for any subsequent showers, you can follow your normal routine (body wash, soap, makeup, deodorant, lotion, etc.). It’s important to keep your skin moisturized, moisturizing up to 2 times daily, if needed.
- You should avoid long showers or baths and hot tubs. Pat your skin dry. Salt water exposure or a chlorinated pool can also shorten your spray tan.
